        TUM STUDENTS RIOTS by Denis Mutua Students from Technical university of Mombasa have engaged police in running battles after rioting in the institution protesting introduction and implementation of the new policies by the administration. The students started by gathering at the institution's graduation square where the students leaders addressed them before pouring into the streets chanting names of the school registrar academic affairs mr Njihia. Students attribute the problems they are having to the registrar whom they say has been running the activities of the school without minding the affairs of the students.     A STUDENT EMBARK ON HELPING STREET BOYS Find Moses Mutuma a first year student at Mount Kenya University Nkubu campus who has started an initiative to help street boys in Meru town. Moses popularly known as mose and who is pursuing diploma in procurement  says he started the program in January this year after seeing the number of street boys in Meru town shooting up, and therefore decided to engage them when he is not in class. `I meets them three times a week around Tuskys supermarket in Meru town, where I does counseling to them since many are into drugs and then advice those below ten years to enroll to school which is difficult since I have no resources to fund their enrollment”, narrates Mose.However,he says he do not have a registered number of them and therefore works with only who are able to cooperate. CONFLICTS LOOMS AMID DROUGHT CONDITIONS following the current dry spell that has hit many parts of the country including Tharaka Nithi, nows most parts of the county especially in Tharaka and Igambang'ombe are in trouble of internal water wrangles. This is as a result of heightening dry conditions in the county. Most of recent past known big permanent rivers right now have been reduced to bare rocks leaving residents depending on them to wade through untold suffering.However these residents are not only associating the the situation with the current dry condition,but also to farming activities along these rivers upstream and that has gone unchecked.
