IGAMBANG'OMBE RESIDENTS LAMENT OVER SORRY STATE OF THE WARD

Residents from Igambang'ombe ward in Chuka Igambang'ombe subcounty are bewailing over sorry and pathetic condition of their ward in terms of development.
Under the leadership of their MCA madam Njeri Kigwari alias Karinda and the area mp Hon. Patrick Munene, the residents complain of receiving iota development from the leadership of the duo and especially the MCA.
Electricity connection to their households seems to be one of the major headache. For instance a resident of Kanthanje wonder why there is power available in mainlines but distribution in the rurals where most population live has never happened leave alone the targeted learning institutions."There is available power but Surprisingly it has never been surplied to us the residents and the schools meant to bennefit from the same",says the resident.
Therefore, according to them life has become hard to navigate through especially this time all students are required to be learning from home using the vital facility.
Interestingly, the surrogates to the leaders particularly that of the mp is said to be a stumbling block where he has been silencing any one trying to criticise or question the area legislator.County Review has learnt that through a whats app group platform "Igambang'ombe development forum",the said aid has been silencing members who raise issues to do with the Mp by axing them out since he is the one with "keys" to the group.
Onother issue is roads in the ward. The roads especially the feeder ones are in sorry state where others are not motorable at all and hence forcing the affected people to treck for long distances making it hard even to lay to rest their loved ones when demise knocks.
An example of a road is the Kajuki-Makanyanga route. It has a culvert that was constructed across the Kimenyi stream along the route. The structure was shoddily done in way that the only place with concrete is where the tunnels were laid and the adjacent sides were smeared with mere murram.Unable to sustain the strength of the water flowing downstrean, the murram has now been washed away leaving a stand alone concrete structure at the middle of the stream thus blocking the crossing point.
"Its better when this culvert was not here since we could crosse the stream with ease,it has now become difficult for us users of the road and especially the huge trucks to navigate the block over here",observes a resident.
Residents therefore have urged their elected leaders to wake from slumber and deliver the heaven they promised them.
