POLICE BRUTALITY HEIGHTENS AMID COVID-19 PANDEMIC FIGHT

A police officer in Chuka town TharakaNithi county is on spot for allegedly assaulting a private gurd from Pachaz security company attached to Magunas supermarket Chuka.
According to the statement from the supermarket,the said gurd was on duty when the officer identified as Jodrean Mukami made her way into the facility.The gurd noticed that the officer's face mask was hanging on the neck and thus requested her to properly put it on before accessing the facility,being one of the measures put by the kenyan government through ministry of health to stem the spread of the corona virus in the country.

Instead of the officer heeding to the humble request given, she reportedly responded  by harassing the gurd through serious beating and was shortly joined by her husband in the fight.
In the process,the gurd sustained serious injuries resulting from the beating.As if that was not enough, the officer's colleagues arrived and went ahead to arrest the victim and locked him up at Chuka police station.
It is an incidence that has angered the Supermarket's management where through their statement,have termed the act as an arrogance of the highest order and which should not go unpunished.
This comes at a time when the Nation is battling the Covid-19 pandemic and wearing of face masks in all the public places has been made compulsory.The question everyone would  ask is wheather the police officers are obove the laws they are enforcing or are they immune to the virus as they dont seem to care much.

A MAN COMMITS SUICIDE AFTER MURDERING HIS WIFE A Man in Kitale Tranzoia county has committed suicide by hanging himself,moments after murdering his wife. The man in his early 50s and identified as Stephen Kagumo and his wife Karen have been having arguments before the fateful and bitter act occured.Stephen is also identified as the son to the late driving school and security firm owner,Kagumo.
