  1. SEARCH FOR THE LIKONI TRAGEDY VICTIMS CONTNUES


The search for the Likoni ferry tragedy victims where a mother and her daughter are feared dead after the vehicle they were in reversed and plunged into the sea, has resumed after efforts to locate the vehicle yesterday hit rock amid poor visibility on the site.
This has resulted the ferry services at the facility to be halted for 3hrs starting from 9am in what is termed as to give the divers who are up to the task humble time to carry the search. This comes when the Kenya ferry services has met rigorous critics after its disaster management has failed to effectively respond to the disaster.

Ironically, the organization is yet to give official communication concerning the Sunday evening incident. Kenyans and the family of the bereaved are now waiting with a heavy hearts for the retrieval of the bodies still trapped in the water.

A MAN COMMITS SUICIDE AFTER MURDERING HIS WIFE A Man in Kitale Tranzoia county has committed suicide by hanging himself,moments after murdering his wife. The man in his early 50s and identified as Stephen Kagumo and his wife Karen have been having arguments before the fateful and bitter act occured.Stephen is also identified as the son to the late driving school and security firm owner,Kagumo.
